Bio

Haydan Hastings will begin his fourth season on the Triton baseball staff in 2025-26. Hastings is the Head Assistant and will continue to work with catchers and serves as the team's hitting coach. Hastings began his collegiate playing career at Gonzaga University (2017-18), then transferred to Palomar College (2019), and finished his final two years as a backstop at Tulane University (2020-21) under former Triton coach Travis Jewett. Immediately after graduating from Tulane he joined the West Coast League's Bellingham Bells as the catching coach.

Hastings, who started as a first base and catching coach at Edmonds, has now taken over as the third base coach and runs the Triton offense. In the summer of 2022 Hastings was promoted to assistant coach of the Bellingham Bells, and later that summer was promoted to the interim head coach for over half of the summer. The Bells won the North Division title and reached the WCL championship game that summer. In the summer of 2024 Hastings returned to Bellingham to serve as the team's Associate Head Coach.
