LYNNWOOD, Wash. — Edmonds lost to Skagit Valley 91-58 on Saturday at Seaview Gym. Edmonds was outscored 41-18 in the second half, with Skagit Valley capitalizing on 22 points off turnovers.

The game opened with strong play in the paint by the Tritons, including layups from Isaiah Lopez and Kyrylo Kapinos, which helped keep the score close. Despite this effort, Skagit Valley gained momentum towards the end of the half, extending their lead to 11 points. The period concluded with Skagit Valley ahead 50–40.

Skagit Valley secured a significant advantage in the second half with a 41-point performance, effectively widening their lead. Edmonds struggled with turnovers and shooting accuracy, recording only 5 field goals out of 24 attempts and committing 7 turnovers. Despite these challenges, the Tritons found some success from the free-throw line, making 7 of their 10 attempts. The half concluded with Skagit Valley leading 91–58, marking the end of the game.

Kapinos scored 11 points, converting all five of his free throw attempts, while also recording a block and a steal. Avidan West contributed 11 points, including a 3-pointer, and went 4-for-6 from the free throw line. Sebastian Cooper added nine points, making four of his five field goal attempts and collecting three rebounds. Hunter White tallied five rebounds and two steals, making an impact on both ends of the court.
