Scarlette Chapman named NWAC Hitter of the Week!
After a torrid week at the plate, sophomore Scarlette Chapman has been selected as the NWAC Softball Hitter of the Week. The transfer and local product from Kamiak High School was 13-for-17 in six games with two homers, 18 runs batted in, 13 runs scored, two doubles, and one triple. Chapman has helped lead the Tritons to a college-record 18-game winning streak. Edmonds outscored their opponents 73-11 during that six game stretch. Chapman has also contributed in the circle and was 2-0 in three games she started, allowing just six runs over 15 innings. She fanned 16 batters in those three starts. Chapman is second overall in the conference with a .600 batting average and 46 RBI.
