LYNNWOOD -- Edmonds College women's hoops ran out to an early lead over the visiting Centraila College Trailblazers on Wednesday night and never looked back. The Tritons took a commanding 25-7 advantage after the first stanza, and took that same 18-point edge into halftime. Edmonds held Centralia to a 27% field goal percentage and forced 20 turnovers.
Keira Slippern led the Tritons with 18 points and drained four treys. Jada Walters notched a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Alexa Munoz (13 points), Dreanna Jackson (11 points), and Kayanna Jackson (10 points) all scored in double figures.
Edmonds improves to 4-3 and will head to Longview for the NWAC Crossover Tournament December 14-16 hosted by Lower Columbia College.
