LYNNWOOD, Wash. — Edmonds College (22-1, 1-0) continued its strong season with a decisive 3-0 victory over Shoreline Community College (0-10, 0-2) on Friday. The scores were 25-12, 25-7, 25-10. The Tritons recorded a total of 12 service aces, contributing significantly to their dominant performance.
The first set began with Edmonds establishing an early rhythm, capitalizing on Shoreline's errors to gain momentum. Kamaleimahie Auwae played a pivotal role, contributing with a service ace and facilitating multiple attack errors from Shoreline. Meredith Moszeter and Olivia Miller were also instrumental, each registering kills that extended the Tritons' lead.
Shoreline's early service errors allowed Edmonds to further capitalize, with Abby Barrow providing critical assists. The team maintained pressure and stretched their advantage to 20-3 at one point. Although Shoreline mounted a minor comeback, closing the gap slightly with a few late points, the Tritons closed the set confidently with a 25-12 victory.
Edmonds seized control in the second set with a decisive performance, capitalizing on Shoreline's errors and showcasing an impressive service run. An early 4-2 advantage for Edmonds was extended through a series of service aces by Kaydence Green, who also contributed multiple kills. This stretch was bolstered by consistent assists from Abby Barrow, leading to a commanding 17-4 lead.
Continuing their momentum, the Tritons demonstrated strong offensive execution, with key contributions from Meredith Moszeter and Haley Yost. The team maintained their advantage, closing the set at 25-7.
Edmonds began the third set with a strong offensive push, highlighted by Lizzie Takau's early kill from Millea McMurry, setting the tone for the home team. Jayda-Lee Kaeo's back-to-back service aces extended Edmonds' lead to 5-1, creating early momentum.
Midway through the set, Edmonds capitalized on Shoreline errors and continued to press their advantage with kills by Kamaleimahie Auwae and Malique Sweet, pushing the score to 12-4. The team's defensive pressure was evident as they consistently forced Shoreline into attack errors.

Meredith Moszeter showcased efficiency, recording six kills on eight attempts for a .625 hitting percentage while also posting two solo blocks. Olivia Miller was effective in attack, adding six kills with a .500 hitting percentage.
